Overview

Flexport is a freight forwarder that helps companies coordinate and move shipments. At Flexport, I was on the Freight Forwarding Operations team that built tools to help operators move shipments from A to B easily.

Exception Management is a shipment incident report tool. This project aimed to improve operational efficiency in reporting and resolving shipment incidents.

I led research and design and introduced a revamped information architecture and fresh interaction patterns. The new reporting experience reduced user interactions by at least 40%.

By spring 2022, the MVP was successfully rolled out to over 50 external freight forwarders globally.
